Headway towards a better face |
 Where the face is concerned most of us tend to worry about it a little too late in life, when the damage is already done. Regular care, the right products and a healthy lifestyle can go a long way in ensuring you keep your face looking the way it should for a long time. To take care of moles, black spots or other minor blemishes, stick to a pattern. Remember that adequate lighting is very important when applying your makeup.
Compact: There are two shades in each compact. Chances are that one of the two is perfect for your skin tone. If not, you can mix the two shades to get a perfect match for your tone.
To mix: Dab sponge lightly in each colour, concentrating more of the lighter and darker colour to match face colour. A very small amount is all you need.
Turn face and apply foundation to jaw line, does it match? If it does not match, remove and dab sponge in a little more lighter or darker foundation, whichever is needed. Try again on the jaw line.
When colour is perfect, dab sponge (the technique is called stippling) on problem areas only. Lightly powder to set foundation.
Using pressed powder. Lightly dab on area and blend in, using puff.
Too much bleaching, or using styling products can add stress to your face and make it dry and rough. Only optimal protection and the right amount of care will help for a smooth and glossy skin. Check with new creams, lotions, massages for facials before venturing. A treatment pack should help depending on the skin tone.
