Heavy foundation for difficult skin

A heavy foundation would be the right solution not only to cover acne, freckles and pimples but also to create a smooth flawless canvas to accent your best features!

There are two shades in each compact. Chances are that one of the two is perfect for your skin tone. If not, you can mix the two shades to get a perfect match for your tone.

To mix: Dab sponge lightly in each, concentrating more on lighter or darker color to match with neck color (only a small amount is needed).

  • Turn face and apply foundation to jaw line and lower cheek to see if it matches with your neck color. (Note: Always apply foundation in downward motion to minimize impact of facial hair.) If it does not match, remove from face and dab sponge in a little more lighter or darker foundation, whichever is needed. Try again on jaw line.

  • Apply on face so no skin is visible through foundation.

  • Blend color on face. Make sure to blend around jaw line, under jaw line, into hairline, on ear lobes (if a different color), around nose, around eye up to bottom of lash line and under brow.

  • If one area needs more concentration of coverage, apply in that area using a dabbing-touch (this is called stippling).

  • Lightly powder to set foundation.

  • If heavier application is needed (i.e., severe acne), pat a damp puff in powder and apply to face. You can also cover freckles and birthmarks in this manner.

Tip: Remember when covering freckles or birthmarks, match your shade in the skin color around that area. Do not try to lighten only the area in which you are working or you will draw more attention to the problem.
