To Widen Close-Set Eyes |
Style |
A little skilful use of tone and shadow can help you overcome the perceived disadvantage of close-set eyes.
Using lightest shade in eye shadow compact, apply to one-half of eyelid, from inner corner to center.
Blend darker tone on outer corner of eyes, blending outward to elongate. Follow angled "< " eye application. Blend to soften.
Blend darker tone from middle of lid upward to brow bone, extend beyond outer eye corners. This will draw eyes further apart.
Add highlight under brow. Add lighter color on outer eye to soften darker shadow.
Line top of eye at lash line on outer two-thirds, thus you will pull the eyes. Do not add liner on inner third near corner of eyes (that would only bring eyes closer together again).
Line lower lid under lashes starting in the middle and working outside to corner. Smudge pencil line down to just a shadow for a smokey look. This is a great evening look as well.
Apply mascara.
