The mosquito repellent industry is poised to achieve a major breakthrough. At a time when malaria is rampant, and many types of disease bearing mosquitoes have developed immunity to the existing repellents in the market, Bombay Chemicals Pvt. Ltd (BCPL) the pioneer in the mosquito coil industry is launching a revolutionary product, ‘Tortoise
Lazor.’
Tortoise Lazor, a new generation mosquito repellent coil, is powered by NAK, a third generation molecule originated and patented by Bayer AG Germany. NAK offers a host of mosquito repelling features that other chemicals do not. The product, which will be launched by BCPL in a strategic tie up with Bayer India, will be initially introduced in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
While BCPL will manufacture and market the product, Bayer India will look after distribution.
Tortoise Lazor offers many competitive advantages. It gets rid of mosquitoes twice a fast as other repellents that contain ‘allethrin.’ The amount of NAK that's needed to be added is in the quantity of allethrin added in other coils. Allethrin used in coils, mats and liquids are relatively more toxic in comparison to NAK. Hence they carry the ‘blue danger and yellow poison’ sign, while NAK carries ‘green caution.’ Thus NAK will be the best option available for getting rid of tough mosquitoes.
Tortoise NAK Lazor has been proved to be extremely effective during the period for which they were burning. Tortoise NAK Lazor mosquito coils have undergone exhaustive testing protocols at different testing laboratories approved by the Central Insecticide Board (CIB). Before introducing NAK in India, Bayer AG had carried out extensive studies in laboratories like the International Institute of Biotechnology and Toxicology (IIBAT) and others.
At a time when insect resistance to insecticides is becoming a major threat NAK will take the market by storm since it will be effective against mosquitoes that have developed resistance to allethrin. This confidence in the claim reflected in the 'money back guarantee' being offer on Tortoise Lazor. The full price of Rs 17.50 will be refunded to the customer in case the product is not found satisfactory.
