Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) is taking many initiatives towards improving the quality of science and engineering education in the country, and also towards attracting and retaining the bright young talents in active scientific research.

In this context, a one-day meet (AIM-2007) is being organised at Kalpakkam on Friday, October 12, 2007 for the academia. The meet will focus on reinforcing the existing collaborations, and on identifying new enabling partners in India’s march towards its cherished vision of becoming a global leader in sodium cooled fast breeder reactor and associated fuel cycle technologies by 2020 AD.
