Technosoft Global Services, a subsidiary of Southfield MI-based Technosoft Corporation, has announced the opening of its second development centre in India's fastest growing IT hub,
Chennai.
"Clearly, India continues to be the 'destination of choice' for clients looking to leverage the power of global delivery, and Chennai in particular makes great sense for our expansion," said Radhakrishnan Gurusamy, Technosoft founder and chairman. "By 2008, we plan to have completed our own campus-style Global Development Centre in Chennai," he added.
The new facility is ISO 27000 certified with multiple security perimeters, to cater to the special HIPAA and other security requirements of its clients.
Technosoft has grown dramatically over the last 24 months by focusing on providing custom IT solutions for clients in the middle market segment. In 2006 alone, Technosoft added 15 new clients to its roster.
"We continue to aggressively ramp up our operations in Chennai to meet the projected demand for our services in IT solutions, Enterprise Search and SAP packaged solutions," said Rajiv Tandon, Technosoft CEO. "Our BPO operations alone are expected to grow by more than 300 per cent in 2007 over last year's levels."
As the large global IT services firms chase contracts with the Global 2000 corporations, the small/medium business (SMB) segment is projected to increase its investments in IT by more than 55 per cent in the next few years. That spells massive opportunity for organisations like Technosoft, who are building out specific IT solutions designed for this market segment, said Radhakrishnan.
