A directory of Indian websites
Internet in India has grown tremendously and made a great impact on society. It is an amazing fact that there are thousands of Indian websites which offer a wealth of information on any topic about India. At the same time, a majority of the Indian sites are not known and many die a natural death without visitors. This is a life-threatening situation to the young Internet industry in India.
In response to the situation, MJ Net Services, a company with a mission to enlarge the web business in India has come out with an Indian Internet directory. The company has launched the Indian Internet Directory 2004 for the first time in India.
The directory, in book form, contains more than 15,000 Indian and NRI websites. All the sites are classified into India and State section and under each section, 20 topics such as culture, communication, education, tourism and industry, etc., are included.
The directory also includes 6 per cent of international sites which are relevant for Indian Net users.
This information is packed into a 680 pages book which will give a lead to at least 10,00,000 pages of material on India. All these come for a nominal price of Rs 300 per book.
