Generous Devyani
 Kausalya
once presented gifts to the members of a film company unit, for she had acted in
three consecutive films under that company’s banner. Now it’s the turn of
Devayani. The unit members of the film ‘Vinnukkum Mannukkum’ were
pleasantly surprised when each of them got a watch from the actress. And there
were about 150 of them in all. Ajit set the trend, and now every actor/actress
worth his/her salt is doling out gifts to unit members and directors. But of
course no one has come anywhere near Ajit, whose generosity is the talk of the
units he works in. But one is happy that a beginning has been made and that the
hardworking unit guys are being appreciated at least by some.
