Lazy Lifestyle Theory
Recently, a crazy college professor propounded the 'Lazy Lifestyle' theory pertaining to shopping in big shops.
The theory, explained inside a classroom with 100-odd students - goes like this: "The more people in a big shop leads to more time they spend there; and, significantly, the lesser they buy." The professor added, "People are getting lazier and lazier these days. So are the 'rich' showrooms and shops, with a lot of window-shopping and stuff. People come just to while away their time..."
The 'LL Theory' is true for a majority at 'Lifestyle' - a huge lifestyle store in
Chennai.
The first thing that hits you at 'Lifestyle' is a cold, fresh burst of air. And the freshness, devoid of coldness, exists everywhere - in the products for sale, in the people who help you out, and in the showroom itself.
This 30,000 sq ft showroom is filled with products for all ages, and for men, women and children. The ground floor has apparels and stockings. It has a wide range of shirts and T-shirts, jeans and trousers, salwars and suits. Jewellery and make-up sections are well-arranged and well-stocked, only there are few takers. The toys section for kids is simply amazing.
Upstairs you go for footwear,
leather products, glass and metal crockery and coffee.
Qwiky's coffee pub, tucked in a corner, provides an ideal ambience for a quiet cuppa.
"It's an multi-purpose shoppe. You could stock yourself for a whole month here. Clothes, utensils, crockery...the list is endless," quips Raja, a worker.
Be yourself. Don't blend it. Shop at Lifestyle.
Don't forget to take a big purse full of notes...or a small one with lots of cards - Now you understand the Lazy Lifestyle Theory?
