What is health and fitness?

Quality of life is what we all want. Good health helps us achieve a high quality of life. Fitness makes us want to live it every day.

What is the importance of corporate health?

Healthy employees are more productive than chronically ill employees. It costs less to prevent injuries or illness than to treat them after they occur. Personal gains, such as improved self-esteem and self-motivation, combined with measurable benefits will create advantages for both the employer and employee. Healthy and fit employees work happier, harder and healthier. It also 'reduces' absenteeism, staff turn over and tardiness, 'increases' teamwork, self-esteem and energy levels.

  2. Protect your skin. Sun block should be applied on face, neck, arms and hands even in the dead of winter. It protects against climatic toxins too. Moisturise skin daily.

  3. Eat fruits, vegetables, grains, low-fat dairy products and small amounts of protein. Avoid sweets and other processed foods.

  4. Meditate or spend a minimum of five minutes daily quietly.

  5. Find your spiritual self. Discover what inspires you, raise your level of consciousness. It motivates you, and satisfies your soul.

  6. Exercise your brain. Read, study, solve problems and learn new skills. As does the body, the brain atrophies with lack of use.

  7. Spend some time everyday with your children or grandchildren.

  8. Avoid using lifts
