This Suprabhatam in praise of Lord Palani Dhandayuthapani is in the voices of Nityasree Mahadevan and Ananthanarayanan and has been set to music by M S Viswanathan.

Album: The Greatest Hits  (July 27th 2000)
Some may say this has too many remixes, too few originals. But Houston's best is a must for addicts.

The CD/album has as many as thirteen songs. All the songs have a common aspect in the fact that they are very popular kritis.

Review of 'Moongil Kaatre'  (July 20th 2000)
Rarely do instrumental renderings of Tamil film songs come to the market. Gives added value to this collection of recent melodies well rendered on the flute.

Music Review of 'Kunwara'  (July 13th 2000)
The title song `Main kunwara aa gaya', by Sonu Nigam, in spite of its dance beats and fast pace is very ordinary.

Review of 'Pennin Manathai Thottu'  (July 9th 2000)
The director does a good job by using minimal background score and letting the singer's soulful voice carry the song through.

Oops! I Did It Again  (July 8th 2000)
On the whole, the album is very danceable. Very upbeat.

Cassette review (July 6th 2000)
The raga is outlined in both alapana and swaram.

Review of 'Joru Ka Ghulam' (July 2nd 2000)
Sonu Nigam's lively rendering makes it enjoyable.

Review of `Vetri Kodikattu' (June 29th 2000)
Even though Shankar Mahadevan is at his peppy best, Deva lets the listener down with his listless score.

Two double albums of R. Vedavalli (June 25nd 2000)
Complete with swaras and alapana, this piece makes for good listening.

Kannan Varuvan (June 21st 2000)
Despite the bunch of talented singers, music director Sirpi lets us down with a very mediocre score.

Mali and Ramani  (June 21st 2000)

double album pack is available for 100/-

The title track stands out in the album; this doesn't mean that it is an extraordinary song.
