 Sisters' concert at Nageswara Rao Park
Sisters R Deepika (eight years) and R Aparna (six years), studying in the Srimathi Sundaravalli Memorial Higher Secondary School, Chromepet, will present a vocal music performance at the 7th Sundaram Finance Sunday Kutcheri in the Park on August 6, 2006, at Nageswara Rao Park,
Mylapore.
The sisters have learnt vocal music from Tiruvarur
Vaidyanathan.
They will be accompanied on the violin by B N Sivakumar and on the mridangam by K Ramasubramanian.
The ‘Sundaram Finance Sunday Kutcheri in the Park’ is intended to promote budding youngsters to display their talents.
Features of the ‘Sundaram Finance Sunday Kutcheri in the Park’
The auditions are open to kids below 15 years;
Organised on the first Sunday of every month between 6.30 a.m. and 7.30 a.m.;
Audition committee, set up by Sundaram Finance, will conduct an audition test before finalising the artistes;
No mikes and speakers will be used;
Sundaram Finance will present certificates to the performing artistes.
