Significantly, her debut venture - 'Virumbigiraen' with Prashanth got released recently, which would have come as a relief to her. Even as the industry kept churning out films and many just faded away and new stars kept emerging by the day, a few stars have managed to keep their reputation intact. Sneha is among the few, who have survived tough times. It is especially tough on heroines, because new names like Sherin, Trisha, Gayathri Raghuram, have emerged. Under such circumstances, Sneha has managed to stay afloat, thanks to good roles and performances. Despite suffering injuries in a mishap, Sneha had a good year (2002) as she acted in several films including 'April Mathathil', 'Vaseegara' and 'King'. It has to be recalled that her small role in 'Anandam' and the 'Palanguzhi' song sent her stocks soaring. In a movie which featured a few big names, Sneha was able to make an impact because of her charming looks and the popularity of the song. The Mumbai-born, Telugu-speaking actress has not looked back since then. She has charmed the audiences with her bewitching smile and acting skills and is certainly a name to be reckoned with.
'I have got some offers to act in Telugu films and I am looking for good roles,' she says. Sneha is presently working in 'Parthiban Kanavu' opposite Srikanth, who is an actor with some promise, and in 'Maha' along with Ajit Kumar. To a query about acting as the second heroine, she says, 'if the role is good, I don't mind doing it.' As far as Hindi films are concerned, the young starlet says she is not keen now.
