'Sadhya' to be served at
Southern Aromas at The Residency Towers as part of the Onam celebrations on 28th August, 2004.
Chef Sundar and his team will put together traditional dishes from
Kerala that will be served on the banana leaf. Once the banana leaf is laid, 21 dishes will come the way of the customer. One can taste genuine Kerala specialties prepared especially to celebrate the Onam that is celebrated in memory of the golden era of
King Mahabali whose spirit is said to visit the state of Kerala at the time of the festival.
Available are dishes like Yelhaka Upperi, Chakka Peratiyatha, Ollan, Kallan, Mooru Kachayatha, Thenga Samandhi, Ingi Curry, Kothu Mangai, Avial, Patchadi, Adai Prathaman and many more delicacies to celebrate Onam the true Kerala way. Ala Carte menu will also be available for guests.
Authentic Kerala food, traditional music and a festive ambience will mark the Onam festivities at Southern Aromas this year. The ‘Sadhya’ is priced at Rs. 250 nett inclusive of Welcome Drink and will be available for lunch from 12 noon till 1500 hrs.
