Indian Cooking for Dummies
Ingredients Raw rice flour - 250 gm Sour curd - 1 tumbler Mustard - 1 tbsp Uluthamparuppu - 1 tbsp Asafoetida - A little Red chillies - 2 Curry leaves - 1 sprig Coriander leaves - A little Refined oil - 1 tbsp Salt to taste
Mix the rice flour in the curd and add a spoon of salt.
Splutter the mustard, uluthamparuppu, red chillies and asafoetida.
Pour the mixed rice flour in it and stir well.
Add the curry leaves and coriander leaves and allow the mixture to cook well.
As an alternative, you can use tamarind juice in place of the curd and make puli uppuma.
