A trendsetter in food & beverage, the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces joins hands with Central Marketing Organisation of German Agricultural Industries (CMA) to bring fine German cuisine to the country - this June.
While Germany play host to the world soccer games 2006, CMA, Germany, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces along with transportation partners Lufthansa, will play host to the 'Taste of Germany' - a month-long extravaganza of German food and drinks.

Goa.
Through this food festival, Taj Hotels and CMA aim to showcase the diversity and finer nuances of German cuisine to Indian consumers. While 32 national teams compete for the world soccer games 2006 in Germany, 20 German companies will display their range of food products and five German specialists will cook up gastronomical German delights in the kitchens of the participating Taj Hotels in India.
The travelling chefs include master chefs, butcher, baker and confectioner, who are all set to conquer Indian hearts and
taste buds with their delectable German offerings. Guests can feast on German food, participate in fun and games and experience German lifestyle and culture centered on "Fuss ball".
With a grand kick-off in Taj President - Mumbai, on June 9, 2006, with a German Evening and a merry-go-round of German Evenings in all other locations during the world soccer games 2006, this culinary experience will come to an end with a closing party at Taj Residency - Bangalore with the final game on July 9, 2006.
Germans love good food and soccer and this will be amply demonstrated in this month-long food festival in India. The collaboration with Taj Hotels also provides CMA with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to the Indian consumers and retailers the quality of the German food industry. In addition to the German Weeks, CMA has planned further campaigns about German food and drink, such as participation in food trade fairs in New Delhi and Mumbai and promotional weeks in the Indian food retail trade.
Get ready for a month-long heady mixture of great soccer and German food and drinks at the Taj Hotels.
