The Days Inn Deccan Plaza, the first and only vegetarian three star hotel in Chennai, now offers a new menu. It brings to the table a wide array of exciting dishes from around the world, which are 101 per cent vegetarian, says its executive chef, Sankara
Subramanian.
Olives, the
multi cuisine restaurant of the hotel, is busy with old faithful patrons trying out the all-new menu and signing off with satisfaction, says the executive chef.
For the hardcore non-vegetarians, Margaret Mead once wrote, "It is easier to change a man's religion than to change his diet." It's so true! If you've decided to go vegetarian, but having some
difficulties along the way, the chefs at Days Inn are ready to help you.
The "scintillating" spread includes, Kela Ke Kebab, Sheik de Aloo, Pineapple Kebab, Jalapeno shooters to name a few for starters, says Sankara Subramanian, adding that a host of exotic tandoori dishes and delicacies of world cuisine would be available.
The piece de resistance are Sizzler Santa Fe, Tofu Sizzler, Mexican Picante, Broccoli Alferdo, Vegetable Calderita, he says.
The menu features a good deal of Oriental flavours too - the Cottage Cheese Malaysian, Szechwan brinjals, Murungakkai Biryani, Bharwa Bhindi, Sesame Baby corn, Ghata di Sabzi and Dragon Cauliflower.
The grand finale comes from the Gajjar Ka Halwa, Banana Bonanza and Crunchee Honey, and the Queen Of Arabia.
