Hotel management course interview
at-sunrice academy, one of the best culinary schools in Asia, will be holding an interview on March 24 of potential students from hotel management background for its one-year and two-year advanced
programme.
The highlight of the programme is the work and study methodology, where the student will be paid internship salary even while studying there. The students will be working with some of the finest hotels in Singapore as they study, giving them fabulous exposure as well as excellent practical education taught by some of the finest chefs in the business.
at-sunrice partners with Johnson & Wales University (JWU) to offer the 2-year postgraduate diploma in culinary arts.
The course combines the best of German and Swiss apprenticeship training formats, with JWU’s Western curriculum and at-sunrice’s pan-Asian curriculum in culinary arts.
Graduates will also become part of at-sunrice’s Global Alumni Network – a group of ambitious culinary professionals who have graduated from top-class institutions such as the Culinary Institute of America, Johnson & Wales University, French Culinary Institute and Institute of Culinary Education.
They will get to mix and mingle with at-sunrice’s partners which include top international hotels in Singapore, the Singapore Chefs Association and the Singapore Tourism Board.
Students will study full-time for one month at-sunrice and apprentice for three months at partner hotels in Singapore such as the Ritz Carlton, Conrad Centennial and Hotel Inter-Continental. This pattern is rotated for 24 months.
