Sinar Jernih (India) Pvt Ltd, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Sinar Jernih Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, a preferred specialist in quality
environment enhancement, plans to increase its customer base to 75 major hotels and corporates in the next one year.
To speed up the growth prospects, Sinar Jernih plans to expand its service to the corporate sector and commercial segment shortly. The company also plans to substantially invest in Indian operations in terms of training facility, infrastructure and manpower.
Sinar Jernih currently offers a complete comprehensive solution on all spheres of cleaning and maintenance services, including
housekeeping, laundry, pest control, lawn and garden maintenance, high-rise cleaning, restoration programmes and food premises hygiene services. Sinar Jernih was set up in 2001 and the company achieved breakeven within 24 months of its operation in India. Sinar Jernih has concentrated strategically on the hospitality and hospital segment where benchmarked environment standards are of high importance. With operations in Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Udaipur, Sinar Jernih is poised to take a major share of the Rs 200 crore market in India.

We also plan to grow at the current speed and establish ourselves as a quality services provider for the hospitality and the corporate segments by consistently investing in training, quality manpower and infrastructure in India.”
Sinar Jernih will be setting up a training centre in Chennai to offer specialised training to match international standards. The Indian operations currently have 1,400 people and there are plans to add 1,500 persons by the end of 2005.
Sinar Jernih Group currently has its operations in Malaysia, Brunei, India and Sri Lanka. With a turnover of MR 87.5 million, Sinar Jernih currently manages over 288 projects across four countries with a staff strength of 5,500-plus.
