Air Arabia daily flights to Chennai
Within a year-and-a-half of successful operations to India, Air Arabia LLC, the first and only low-fares airline in the Middle East and North Africa and the first international low-fares airline to fly to India, made its inaugural flight to Chennai on November 2, 2006. The airline has commenced daily flights to
Chennai.
Air Arabia's CEO, Adel Ali, led a delegation of senior dignitaries from the UAE on the first flight. PWD Minister Durai Murugan was the chief guest at the event and received the inaugural flight.

Chennai is our fifth station in India and we hope to continue to provide opportunities to our customers whether they choose to travel for business or pleasure."
Air Arabia has commenced operations to Chennai. Air Arabia Flight 475 departs from Sharjah at 10.05 p.m. to arrive in Chennai at 4.30 a.m. Flight 476 departs from Chennai at 5.15 a.m. to arrive in Sharjah at 7.40 a.m. All timings are local.
Keeping with its international philosophy of offering affordable fares on all its routes, Air Arabia has announced fares for the Chennai-Sharjah route starting at around Rs 3,900, exclusive of taxes and surcharges.
