 DVD on yoga
With a view to be of use, particularly for novices, a DVD called 'Yoga for Beginners' has been brought out by Sri Ramakrishna Mutt in
Chennai.
Unlike other similar audio-visual presentations, the DVD has a dozen children performing various postures on the direction of their yogasana teacher K V
Venkataraman.
The yogic postures in the DVD, produced and marketed by Super Audio (Mylapore) Pvt Ltd under the brand Geethanjali, includes relaxing postures, preparatory exercises, Surya Namaskaram, standing, sitting, prone, supine postures and inverted postures like Sirasasana.
Priced at Rs 350, the DVD was released by mutt president Swami Gautamananda Maharaj in the metropolis.
