Prawns - 1 kg.
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 5 tbsp.
Onions - ½ kg.
Tomatoes - ½ kg.
Cinnamon - A small piece
Aniseeds - 1 ½ tsp.
Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp.
Salt to taste
Chilli Powder - To taste
Oil - ½ cup.
Procedure
Clean the prawns well and set aside. Chop the onions and tomatoes. In a heavy bottomed kadai add the oil and heat it. Add cinnamon and aniseeds to the oil and fry them to a golden brown
colour. Add the ginger- garlic paste and fry for a minute. Next add the chopped onions and fry them till they turn transparent. Add the cleaned prawns and turmeric powder and cook till the prawns become tender. Add the curds, tomatoes, chilli powder and salt and mix the contents well. Add some water and cook them all in a slow flame. When the ingredients turn red remove from fire.
