 The Super Singer Contest of Vijay TV now provides an opportunity for Chennai participants:

Or you could spot the Vijay TV super singer van which would be stationed in Chennai city and register your voice for the audition.
A person who is not short-listed can still try his/her luck on the day of the Chennai zonal audition that is scheduled for April 16 at Chennai Convention Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai. The judges for the chennai audition would be music director Iman and noted playback singers S P Shailaja and
Malathi.
Auditions are restricted to the first 600 registrations on first-come-first-served basis. One can give any number of auditions and if not selected in the Chennai zone, he or she can audition in Madurai, which is to be held on April 23. The Madurai audition that was originally scheduled for April 8 has been postponed to April 23 due to the election campaign in the region. The police felt that given the huge rush for the talent hunt, it would be impossible to manage the situation during the election activity. Taj Garden Retreat, Pasumalai, would be the venue for the Madurai audition.
