 Super Singer Madurai audition
 The ultimate search for the best voice of Tamil Nadu Super Singer, launched by Vijay TV, has been in the news for the past one month. The first audition took place at Coimbatore on April 1 where thousands of talented singers participated. The judges for the Coimbatore audition were singers Malaysia Vasudevan and Mahati. Among the participants, 20 people have been selected. The second audition was held at Chennai Convention Centre on April 16.
The judges for the Chennai audition were S P Shailaja, Malathi and music director Iman. On Sunday (April 16), the hall was filled with thousands of talented singers. The first participant was present at the venue by 4 a.m. The participants went through three rounds of contests. Most of them were well-versed in classical music. The judges selected around 125 persons and the audition continued on the second day too.
Those who did not get the opportunity can try their luck at the third audition which is taking place at Madurai on April 23 at Hotel Taj Garden Retreat,
Pasumalai.

The best singer selected at this show will get an opportunity to sing for music director Harris Jeyaraj's music composition.

Vijay TV from April 28 onwards, every Friday and Saturday between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
