 Netru Indru Naalai
 Vijay TV is organising Netru Indru Naalai 2006, a three-hour programme of song, dance and entertainment, in Chennai on February 5, 2006.
This is a musical event on the lines of Broadway musical and is directed by ace director Maniratnam, showcasing Tamil cinema through the ages. Popular art director Sabu Cyril is providing grandiose sets with life-size properties designed to recreate the different eras. State-of-the-art lighting and pyrotechnics is by ace lensman and award winning director Rajiv Menon, with over a 100 dancers on one stage and some of the biggest stars in Tamil filmdom bringing to life those magical celluloid moments on stage.
 The show is to be held at the Jeppiar Engineering College, Chennai, from 6.30 p.m. The event seeks to raise some funds for a voluntary organisation, The Banyan.
Music director A R Rahman has composed a special song for NIN-2006.
Bollywood and Kollywood stars like Madhavan, Vivek Oberoi, Shaam, Silambarasan, Reema Sen, Shilpa Shetty, Shobana, Bharath, Kiran, Pooja, Malavika, Revathy, Rohini, Vivek, Vineeth, Abbas, Genelia, Sridevi, and many others are set to perform in this event.
Among others who will take part are Mohanlal, one of the biggest stars of Malayalam cinema, who will shake a leg at NIN-2006, Simran, Srikanth, besides Aarya and Sandhya.
