Here is a praise for Tollywood item girl
Mumaith Khan from director Posani Krishna Murali. "She looks
cunning, which she is not. She can perform a hundred times
better than Ileana. She is the only actor in my 20 years of film
career who has returned her remuneration saying that the
particular sum is enough for her." Mumaith Khan is playing a
crucial role in Posani’s yet-to-be-released film 'Operation
Duryodhana' which is inspired by the Tehelka sting operation.
The film, dealing with politics hit theatres June 1. For Mumaith
Khan, who has been found guilty by some as bieng indisciplined
during shoots, the director's soothing words must have come like
a balm.
Bhoomika and Bharath are a couple
It has been talked about for a quite some
time - the relation between Bhoomika and her beau Bharath Thakur.
But to the surprise of many, the duo turned up for the audio
release of Bhoomika’s latest film, 'Satyabhama', in Hyderabad
recently. "Yoga not only keeps one’s physique in shape but gives
relief to one's mind," says this girl friend of Bharat Thakur, a
Yoga trainer who owns hotels in Goa. She is in neck-deep in love
with her beau and has been reciting Yoga mantras whenever she
gets a chance.
Pawan with three heroines
If Tollywood’s hearsay is anything to go by,
two more glamourous girls, Kamalinee Mukherjee and Parvati
Melton, are going to appear in Pawan Kalyan’s latest, untitled
venture. Ileana, the heroine of the film, would shortly join the
team for shooting. The duo is said to have agreed readily for
the proposal. Trivikram Srinivas is the director and Allu
Aravind is the producer. It remains to be seen how this film
turns out as Pawan Kalyan badly needs a hit.
Chakri the philosopher
Chakri’s foot-tapping music for 'Desamuduru'
has proved to be a runaway success with the masses and his
latest film Satyabhama’s music is also out in the market. Now
the composer’s heart is more into social welfare activities. "I
am doing all this with the inspiration of Swamy Vivekananda,"
reveals the music director. He is going to organise a
state-level singing competition on June 8, 9 and 10 on the
occasion of his birthday. He will also conduct a fund-raising
event for an NGO, Swechcha, on the occasion.
Jiah Khan looks south
Jiah Khan, who stole the hearts of many a
youngster with her skin show in Bollywood flick 'Nishabd'
alongside Big B, was in Hyderabad for Bharatstudent.com’s
entertainment event. The actress revealed that she is open to
Telugu films given a plum offer. This Ram Gopal Varma discovery,
if she enters Tollywood, is certain to give the Ileanas and
Trishas a run for their money.
