Lawrence's big brother act

Tollywood

Though initially Mamta Mohandass is said to have been considered for the lead role in Nagarjuna’s 'Don', it is actually Anushka who grabbed the role once again with this ultra modern boy - Nag, after 'Super'. And another interesting thing is, Raghava Lawrence, besides wielding the megaphone and composing the music for the film, is also appearing in it as Nag's brother. This choreographer-turned-director’s daring act of taking up many tasks simultaneously has surprised many in the industry. A huge set costing about Rs 60 lakh is being erected at Ramoji Film City. Being produced by M L Kumar Chowdary of Sri Keerthi Creations, the film is into its next schedule of shooting.

A time to celebrate

"Soon after completion of shooting and the film's release, actors shouldn't think that their job is done. They also have to participate in programmes like 'hundredth day function', though organised by producers and directors," opined Telugu movie Moghal D Ramanaidu expressing dissatisfaction over the poor turn out of the cast of Pellaina Kothalo, at its hundredth day fuction recently. Starring Jagapathi Babu and Priyamani, the film was directed by Madan, who penned the story for 'Aa Naluguru'. Interestingly, it is the second hundredth day fuction for Jagapathi in recent times after his 'Samanyudu'. Heroine Priyamani and Ali were present on the occasion.
