Perhaps 'Jagadam' is the last film which was released in Telugu before the cricket World Cup. And other films like Venkatesh's 'Adavari Mattalaku Arthale Verule' (AMAV) and Rajinikant’s 'Shivaji' which were scheduled to be released in the month of April may not be released in view of World Cup schedule till April 28.
As Venkatesh also loves watching cricket, it may not be released until the World Cup is completed. Same is the case with Shankar-directed 'Shivaji', which is scheduled to be released officially on April 12. Trisha is the heroine in AMAV, directed by Selvaraghavan of '7/G Brindavan Colony' fame. Though there is officially no talk of postponing the release of 'Shivaji', the grapevine has it that it will be released only after the World Cup.
