 With his penchant to do roles of various hues as in 'Raam'
and 'E...', Jeeva has yet another challenging role in his new
film 'Thamizh M.A.'. Paired with him is Anjali who debuts in
Tamil.
Jeeva plays Prabhakar a postgraduate in Thamizh, and it's
about the hurdles he faces in life. It's about Prabhakar's
passion for the language, his romance with Anjali, his success
and failures as he goes about giving a focus to his life. For
comic relief there is Karunas. Also playing a crucial role is
Azhagum Perumal (director of films like 'Dum, Dum, Dum')
Shot at locations in Kerala, Andhra, Maharashtra, Tirunelveli,
Madurai, Tiruvannamalai and Chennai, the film is directed by
debutant Ramu.
 Apart from the main cast, the film boasts of a cast of about
100 actors, many of them facing the camera for the first time.
The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography
by S R Kathir who apprenticed under cameraman Ramji.
A Rs 5 crore project, the director assures that his film
would be different from the routine potboilers.
