 Sharat Kumar has two films on the floors – ‘Pachaikili Muthucharam’, directed by Gautham, where he is paired with Jyotika and Andrea, and ‘Vaitheeswaran’, where he has two heroines sharing the lead with him, Meghna Naidu and
Sanjana.
Shooting is on at a fast pace for the latter film where Sharat plays a bigwig of the place, revered by the people around for his honesty and righteousness. And when called on, he doesn’t hesitate to take up arms against injustice.
A scene was shot on him, actor Saibaba and some stuntmen. The scene, choreographed by stunt master Anal Arasu, had Sharat entering a shopping complex and being confronted by some rowdy elements. The rowdies were on the look-out for Saibaba, a painter, who was expected at the place to showcase his paintings. And their target was Saibaba, and it was their hastiness that had led them to confront Bala. And when Bala whips out a revolver, the rowdies back off in haste. With actors Sharat Kumar and Saibaba in the scene it was Saravanan who canned the shots.
The supporting cast has Sayaji Shinde, Damu, Santhanam, Vijay Kumar, Vinaya Prasad, Murthy, Suja, Balu Anand, Manobala, Vijay Krishnaraj, Suja, Ghajini Rajesh and
Lakshmanan.
Shot at locations in Pollachi, Kerala and Thirumurthy Nagar, the film, produced by M. Senthil Kumar and Ganesh for their banner Annamalai Films (Pvt) Ltd, has music by Srikanth Deva and editing by Jaishankar. It’s Maheshwar who scripts and directs the film.
