The audio-launch of 'Naan, Aval, Athu', starring Madhavan and the slim-and-svelte Sadha, was held recently in Chennai. The function was attended among other by noted director P. Vasu, actress Sadha and Sibiraj. The film, directed by Kona Venkat, has music by three music directors, viz. G.V. Prakash, R.P. Patnaik and P.S. Dharan.
The event, scheduled to begin at 04:30 in the evening, was delayed by an hour and started only at 05:30 p.m. The reason for the delay was that the organisers were probably waiting for Maddy, the hero, to come. Chances of Maddy's presence were slim, thought many assembled there. Only a week or so ago, Madhavan had complained to the Tamil Film Producers' Council (TFPC) against the producer for cheating him to the tune of Rs.75 lakhs and not paying up his dues.
The producers appears to have got a valid point when he asked that when the total salary fixed for Madhavan couldn't cross Rs.40 lakhs, how come he claim that the due amount is Rs.75 lakhs? When the dispute has reached such a stage, how in the world did the organisers of the event hope that Maddy would make it to the function?
