Imagine this combination: Prabhudeva making a comeback as hero in Tamil films in a film to be directed by Thangar Bachchan. Sounds odd, but it is actually true. Thangar, who approached many top heroes including Vijay with his next story in mind, failed to convince them but found a passive pair of ears in Prabhudeva, who has now become a successful director himself in both Tamil and Telugu films.

Prabhudeva, sources say, was over-awed by the story and Thangar's narrative style that he immediately gave his consent to do the lead role. Some time back, one heard Prabhudeva expressing his desire to make a 'comeback' as an actor; but no one would have imagined that he would do so in a film directed by Thangar Bachchan. A more than competent actor with amazing dancing and comic skills, Prabhudeva might not take long to be in the reckoning once again as a hero.



The other hero in the film would be the mercurial Prakashraj. Newcomers Vijeka and Sandhya have been roped into play lead roles opposite Prabhudeva and Prakashraj respectively. Sandhya appears perfectly willing to play lead role against a relatively 'older' Prakashraj.
