Velu Prabhakaran, the self-confessed atheist and follower of the late Dravidian leader Periyar's philosophies, now appears to be targeting Kamal Hasan. Prabhakaran's target recently switched from Rajnikant to Kamal Haasan. The reason could be the fact that some time back, the superstar had helped Velu Prabhakaran by giving him Rs.10 lakhs to bail him out of his financial losses to release a long-pending film of his.
Prabhakaran has trained his guns recently on Kamal, saying that he has never spread theist thoughts though any of his films. Prabhakaran's reasoning is that in his recent film 'Dasavatharam', Kamal utters a line saying 'If God does indeed exist, it would only be good for humanity'. As always, Prabhakaran has gone overboard in his opposition to Kamal's dialogues.
The response from Kamal's side would only be known in the days to come.
