 Prasanth for Interpol training
 Leading Tamil film actor Prasanth will undergo investigation training of Interpol and also undertake a two-month special training for cops at the Police Academy in
Meerut.
This is a reflection of Prasanth's energy levels and the seeking of perfection in his roles.
The special effort is because he and his father have teamed up to present another Hindi blockbuster in Tamil. After the remake of 'Bhoot' as
'Shock' in Tamil, they will now make the Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Khakhi'. The film titled 'Police' will be produced by Prasanth's father, Tyagarajan, in the banner of Lakshmi Shanthi movies.
Tyagarajan and Prasanth have planned the film on a massive scale and have earmarked a big budget for the movie.
 Three leading heroes are to team up with Prasanth in this multi-star cast film. The film's leading lady to pair with Prasanth is expected to be a leading heroine who has acted is in both Tamil and Telugu films.
Lara Dutta is expected to dance for one song in this film. Another item number?
The film deals with the problems faced by honest police personnel and uses highly skilled modern gadgets and is conveyed in an entertaining manner. The Hindi film had in its cast
Amitabh, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Tushar Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. It also has Atul Kulkarni, Sayaji-Shinde, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mukesh
Rishi, Delhi Ganesh, Lakshmi and Kausalya in the cast.
 Shooting for the film will commence in Chennai in the month of October. Other locations identified are Vishakapatnam,
Mangalore, Kerala and Kudremukh, while some songs and chases and fights will be shot in Spain, US, Greece and
Italy.
Cinematography will be by M V Pannerselvam, editing by Saisuresh, music by Ramsethi, stunts by Dinesh, choreography by Remo, Sarojkhan and Brinda, public relations by Nikil and Production supervision by K Anand. Tyagarajan takes care of the Screenplay, Dialogue, Production and Direction.
