Twentieth Century Fox presents a slapstick, rib-tickling comedy which will suit the holidaying crowd of kids. It features Ben Stiller, Robin Williams and Owen Wilson. For the first time in the history of Indian cinema, Twentieth Century Fox has released a film only in the dubbed versions all over India.
Ben Stiller plays Larry Daley, a good-hearted dreamer. He strongly believes that though he most times runs out of luck, he is destined to achieve something big.
Desperate for a job, any job, he accepts what others have rejected - a graveyard-shift security guard at a museum of natural history. However, he finds that the museum comes alive at night, and extraordinary things happen. Roman gladiators, cowboys and Mayans appear and fight exciting battles; a Neanderthal burns down his own display in the quest for fire; Attila the Hun, played by Patrick Gallagher, pillages his neighbouring exhibits and a T-Rex reminds everyone why he's history's fiercest predator.
Larry finds a benefactor in the wax figure of President Theodore Roosevelt (Robin Williams). Larry stops the bedlam and a nefarious plot. In the end, he saves the museum though he came close to being fired.
