The life history of Kamaraj, produced by Ramana Communications, was released last year in Tamil called 'Kamaraj'. The film won the 'Dinakaran' best movie award.
Now the English version of the film, titled 'Kingmaker', is scheduled to be released all over the world on August 15. This is the first time a Tamil film has been dubbed into English and released all over the world.
The release of the film now assumes special significance - as it is released at a time when the people of India are celebrating the Independence Day. 'Kingmaker' is a film on a great leader who dedicated the whole of his life for India's freedom and for the cause of democracy.
