TTD Sudarsanam Counter

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams inaugurated the Sudarsanam Counter at Chennai on September 12 to enable pilgrims have a quick and well-planned darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

The counter in Chennai was opened by Manoj Kumar Sonthalia, Member, Board of Trustees, TTD, and CMD, Express Group of Publications (Madurai) Ltd.

Sudarsanam tokens are issued between 1000 hours to 1300 daily.

Each pilgrim can obtain the Sudarsanam token and special darshan ticket by paying Rs 60 per head. Three laddus will be issued free of cost (per token) to the pilgrim on producing the token at the laddu counter at Tirumala after the darshan.

Darshan slots allotted to the enrolled pilgrims at Vaikuntam Queue Complex (VQC), Tirumala, are as follows:

(a) 1000 to 1100 hrs
(b) 1100 hrs to 12 noon
(c) 1400 to 1500 hrs
(d) 1500 to 1600 hrs.

Pilgrims would have to affix their thumb impression and provide their photographs as a proof of identity. Photographs would be taken using the webcam attached to the computer available at the counter.

Pilgrims can enrol themselves for the booking at least three days in advance, and upto a maximum of 60 days from the date of enrolment.

No cancellation or postponement will be allowed once the booking is made, TTD authorities said.

A Sudarsanam Counter was opened at Bangalore on September 10, while a similar counter would be opened at Hyderabad.
