Lakshmi Kubera homam, Sodhasa
Mahalakshmi pooja (16 Lakshmi devis) and Vilakku Pooja will be performed by the Rajalakshmi
Kubera Trust on behalf of the world's first
Sri Lakshmi Kuberar temple, Chennai, on full moon (Poornima) day, April 5, 2004, at the temple on South Dhandapani street, T Nagar, Chennai-600 017, between 1700 and 1900 hrs.
Women who desire to take part in the Vilakku Pooja, Sodhasa
Lakshmi pooja should wear green dress, bring with them the 'vilakku' and plate to perform the
pooja. They will have to remit Rs 101. All
participants will get flowers, jacket piece, a picture of Lakshmi, and homam
prasadam.
Every Friday evening, between 1700 to 1900 hrs, devotes can themselves perform pooja for Godess Lakshmi pooja (16 Lakshmi). Sodhasa Lakshmi pooja bestows wealth, good life, peace, good health and happiness to those who pariticipate. The pooja is considered powerful and useful.
