It's that time of the year again... when the young beauties usher in a new beginning... with confidence and excitement...
Sparkling eyes, soaring dreams, nervous excitement! The anticipation has just begun. With bated breath, the countdown to the country's most exhilarating beauty event takes off. This will be the second consecutive year when Pond's is the main annual beauty pageant sponsor. This year, the Pond's Femina Miss India 2005 showcases 23 bright new faces of young Indian women vying for the most prestigious place under a crown.
'Pond's Femina Miss India 2005' is here and has already reached another interesting stage. After having received an overwhelming number of over 9,300 entries, the girls were short-listed and brought to Mumbai for the regional rounds. After a tough selection process, the pick of the lot, the chosen ones, the final 23, are here to showcase their talent, confidence and beauty. On whose head will rest the coveted crown?
These young women will have a chance to emulate the success of the beauty queens over the last few years - Sushmita, Aishwarya, Priyanka and all other Indian beauties who have set a precedent in bringing home the international crowns.
