Ajit Kumar is making waves in the British Formula – 3 Motor
Racing, according to his friends and associates. In the 8th race held on May 16th 2004 at Knockhill, Scotland, Ajit Kumar attained Podium Finish, reaching the 3rd position amongst 23 drivers combining class A and B put together.
Ajit was racing in a B class vehicle.
Ajit has been steadily making improvements in the British Formula – 3 scholarship class races ever since the races commenced during April 2004.
He has been jetting across India to complete his acting assignments and consequently going about the racing contest without much of practice. Inspite of this, he has made impressive strides in the Formula – 3 Championship in the last three races.
Ajit is determined to improve his position and his consistency has come in for handsome praise from racing enthusiasts.

 The
actor had recently announced firm schedules for shooting and for his motor-racing activities as well, clearly demarcating his aptitude for racing despite his film activity. Though racing is an exacting schedule and is very demanding, Ajit is determined to make a mark in motor-racing and is keen on putting in more effort.
Ajit, at the same time, has reassured the film industry that his career in motor-racing would not affect his contracts for films. In fact, he would take up films whenever there is a lean period in motor-racing.
