The Rotary club of Madras is conducting a mega property exhibition, 'PROPWORLD' for the benefit of home seekers in Chennai and its suburbs in connection with the centenary celebrations of the Club. The fair is to be held from October 2 to October 4, 2004 at Raja Muthiah Hall,
Egmore, Chennai.
Pradeep Yadav, Inspector General of Registration, Government of Tamil Nadu, will inaugurate the fair at 11 a.m on October 2. More than 10,000 properties will be showcased by 30 leading builders and promoters. The highlight of this fair is that for the first time, the Registration Department of Government of Tamil Nadu is participating in the fair on account of which the visitors can avail the facility of getting online EC and guideline value on the spot. The Department will counsel the general public about the latest changes in the Registration procedures.
The surplus funds generated out of this mega property fair will be utilised to fund the education-related projects for the under-privileged undertaken by the Rotary Club of Madras.
Forerunners in community service for over 75 years, the Club has been organising several events in the city, as part of its centennial celebrations. The Club is conducting the property fair for the third time in succession. With the real estate market being on the upswing particularly in Chennai, the fair is expected to attract a major chunk of real estate dealers and home seekers.
