Actor-model Sonali Bendre-Behl introduced Chennai to the Omega Fine
Jewellery range at a function in the city recently. The range comprises
four lines: the ornate Omegamania, the ultra modern Griffes, and the
delicate Sedna and Aqua collections.
Photographers and TV channels feasted on Sonali for several minutes as
she made her appearance on the podium at a five-star hotel in Chennai.
The launch took place in the presence of Omega Fine Jewellery head
Annette Buess.
Annette
Buess said: "The magnificent portfolio of Omega Fine Jewellery
represents the same values that Omega watches stand for -
innovation and sophistication. Chennai has traditionally been a
very strong market for jewellery. We have had tremendous
response for our watches in this city and we hope the success
for fine jewellery will replicate this phenomenon."
Unveiling the collection, Omega brand
ambassador Sonali Bendre-Behl, said: "Omega's Fine Jewellery
line displays the same elegance as Omega watches. Each piece
that I have seen, be it rings, necklaces, earrings or even
cufflinks, is a unique fusion of classy chic and technical
quality." Women like jewellery, Somali said in a simple
under-statement.
Priced at Rs 40,000 onwards, Omega Fine
Jewellery is available at all exclusive Omega boutiques across
India.
Annette said Omega will be the Official
Timekeeper for the Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010 and London 2012
Olympic Games.
