For the first time in Telugu cinema history, a star nite is to be held across the seas - in
Singapore and
Malaysia – on June 5 and 6.
The occasion would also be used to present the millennium awards for veteran actor Nageswara Rao and director D Rama
Naidu.
Mubarak Ali of Mars Golden Holiday Pvt Ltd, who is organising the show for Movie Artistes Association (MAA) (Andhra Pradesh), said it would be a mega show with all leading actors, actresses and dancers participating in the event.
MAA president actor Murali Mohan, secretary Mallikarjun Rao are racing against time to ensure that all the arrangements are in place for this first-time event.
Stars like Chiranjeevi, Arjun, Ramba,
Nagma, Abbas Ali, Akash, Chandramohan, Gajala, Keerthi Reddy, Rasi, Rajendra Prasad, Rohit, Rekha, Sivajiraja, Sanghavi, Srikanth, Saikumar, Sangeetha, Tarun, Vijayanirmala, Vineet, Bhumika, Jagathibabu, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Krishnam Raju, Ramya Krishnan, Roja, S P Balasubramaniam, Sarath Babu, Sakshi, Simran…the list of participants seems almost endless.
Mars Golden is offering a package deal to take the fans also overseas. Since the seats are limited, Mubarak Ali advises people to pay Rs 28,500 for the 10-day trip as early as possible.
