| Shilpa finds Surya hot
 Sizzling Shilpa Shetty was in Chennai recently to inaugurate a cloth store.
She has a stronger reason to be attracted to the metropolis as she is currently doing a film for Tamil actress-turned-director Revathi. ‘Phir Milenge’ – Revathi’s movie – has two of Bollywood’s hottest male stars, Salman Khan and Abhishek
Bachchan.
Shilpa seems to have grown in stature and taste and said she would henceforth prefer artistic cinema to commercial ones. But she still has her sense of balance because she stressed she wouldn’t completely ignore commercial cinema.
Explaining the rationale, she said though she was branded as a commercial heroine, she was ready for a change. She added that she would prefer doing characters and films that are well-etched and touched one’s very soul.
She put to rest any doubts that she was averse to acting in regional films by saying that she would love to do them provided her shooting schedules did not clash. Ah, yes. She wishes to work with top Tamil directors like Shankar, Maniratnam and
Bala.
She said she would look forward to every opportunity to work with actors Surya and Vikram. She said a special word of praise for Surya - fantastic!
She finds that Chennai is fast becoming a fashion-conscious city. She philosophised that people all over India were becoming conscious of their outfits. Chennaivasis can take heart that they are in the race. Thank you,
