Aptech
University has announced the launch of its Degree Programmes for students
aiming to pursue courses in Management, IT, Media Studies, Humanities and Social
Sciences. Other programmes (Diploma and Certificate) are also available.
The announcement marks Aptech’s
entry into the formal education space. Admission to these programmes will be
based on online tests to be conducted at Aptech Distance Education Academic
Centres (DAEC) located throughout the country. Aptech
University, established through an Act of the State Legislature, will be
headquartered in Raipur, where a campus will be set up soon. It draws its
strength from its association with Aptech Limited, which has trained millions of
students across the world in the last two decades.
Speaking on the occasion, Wing
Cmndr (Retd) Pratap Pradhan, Vice-Chancellor, Aptech
University, said, “The launch of Degree Programmes by Aptech
University is one more step in our continuing commitment to provide
world-class, industry-relevant higher education to students in India. With
Aptech University, students have the advantage of undergoing
application-oriented education with a research-oriented approach to studies. In
addition, our corporate mentorship programmes, technology-driven mentoring,
industry relevant curriculum, global student exchange programmes and internships
herald a new step in higher education in India.”
How to Apply
In a press communiqué, the
University said that students can purchase and submit the filled-in admission
forms at any DEAC or Affiliated Colleges or at Aptech
University itself with all supporting information and documents and
application fee of Rs. 340 by way of a DD in favor of Aptech University payable
at Raipur. Alternatively, it can be downloaded from the website www.aptechuniversity.ac.in
Aptech University has been set
up under the aegis of the Aptech
Education Society with the main objective of imparting world-class training
in all areas of higher education and will provide courses in IT, Management and
Media Studies. Aptech
University offers courses, faculty, educational facilities and focuses on
providing all-round development to the student through a variety of routes:
debates, elocution workshops, symposiums, conferences, youth festivals and
academic festivals.
