Three Chennai students, trained by an institute in Chennai, have been selected in the national-level law entrance exam for 2003-04.
Sriram Vidyashram, the institute which has been training students for the law entrance examination across the country, held its valedictory for the 2003-04 batch of law students June 12 at Vani Mahal, T Nagar.
Senior advocate of the Madras High Court, Sriram Panchu, the chief guest, laid stress on hard work. Speaking on 'Horizons of Law', he said, "Set apart sometime for work. Pay attention to character and ethics, hard work and preparation."
He advised students to have the right principles and then they could manage any case. He also stated that logic played the most important part in solving any case.
Three students Challa Sandeep, Satyakam and Vinay, trained by Sriram Vidyashram, have been selected for NALSAR Law University, National Law School of India University and NALSAR Law University respectively.
All the three students are from Chennai and have done Chennai proud, considering the fact that more than 5,000 students all over the country wrote the examination. So far the institute has produced 30 rank-holders.
Other students who have got admitted to other law schools trained by Sriram Vidyashram were also felicitated at the function.
Challa Sandeep said after receiving the award, "The experience of getting trained at Sriram Vidyashram was good. It really helped us for the exams. Teaching was very systematic."
Poonguzhali, another student of Sriram Vidyashram, praised the excellent faculty.
A parent of a student trained by the institute echoed her on the faculty, saying, "Kudos to Raman and Hema Raman."
The vidyashram also coaches through correspondence and over the Internet. It has centres in Nungambakkam and
Adyar.
