SAE, Mackie offer scholarships
Building on a longstanding educational partnership, SAE Technology College and Mackie have announced the first-ever SAE Technology College/Mackie International Scholarship Contest, which will award one international and one U.S full tuition scholarship to the SAE Audio Technology Program of the recipient's choice.
As part of the application process, potential students must submit a portfolio of creative works or productions for review. Entrants must also provide an outline of their own relevant experiences and goals in the audio industry, as well as a statement explaining why they are the best candidate to receive this scholarship. Applicants will then mail entries and related submissions to the SAE campus that they would like to attend. All 53 participating SAE Institute campuses around the world are accepting entries from February 24, 2005 through March 31, 2005.
Downloadable applications are currently available at

Each individual school will select two finalists from their location. These two finalists will then be submitted to Mackie for final judging, and Mackie will choose one international and one U.S scholarship winner.
