Education UK Exhibition in Kovai
The British Council is organising its annual Education UK Exhibition in Kochi and Coimbatore on November 13 and 14, 2006, which will provide an excellent opportunity for the students and parents to meet representatives of 25 institutions from the UK. Students will get authentic information and advice about the wide range of subjects and qualifications to study in the UK.
Venue in Coimbatore: The Residency, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.
Venue in Kochi: The Avenue Centre, Panampilly Nagar, Kochi.
Time: 12 Noon to 7 p.m.

Experts on the above subject areas will deliver these seminars. A visa officer from the British Deputy High Commission, Chennai, will talk to students on student visas
requirements.
Entry to the exhibition is by registration. Entry to the exhibition is free to students and parents.
Studying in the UK involves two kinds of costs - tuition fee and living costs. The costs vary for different subjects. The 'average' tuition fee per annum is estimated to be:
Arts (pound) 6,250 to 7,650;
MBA (pound) 6,000 to 20,000;
Science (pound) 6,500 to 9,700;
Clinical courses (pound) 6,960 to 18,000.
Living cost is between (pound) 7,000 to 8,000 per annum and varies according to the location.
