Bio-technology, the latest revoultion of the century, would soon rule the world, according to experts and professors in this field.
At a national level symposium held at the Bharat Institute of Higher Education (BIHER), near Tambaram, called FAME 2004, this was stressed by the Vice-chancellor of the institute, Dr S
Ranganathan.
FAME 2004 was a national level symposium held on the futuristic trends of mechanical engineering and their applications. Students from various colleges participated in this one-day event and presented papers.
Dr. L VijayaRaghavan, Professor, Manufacturing Engineering section of the Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT), Chennai, was the guest of honour on the occasion.
