Aptech bags Orissa Govt order
Aptech, leading IT Training major, has bagged a prestigious order estimated to be around Rs seven crore, from the Government of Orissa to train primary and upper-primary students in over 300 schools across the State during the first phase. 150 schools are likely to be covered in the second phase for incremental projected revenue of Rs three crore to be implemented in the next three months on completion of the first phase. All districts in the State are proposed to be covered under this Project.
As detailed by G Sivakumar Sr. Vice President Institutional Sales, “Training will be provided in two phases, the first of which will cover 300 schools to be followed by 150 more in the second phase.
Aptech under the 'T3' program shall deploy its qualified and experienced faculty to train the Government teachers in English, Science, Mathematics and Computer Literacy using Multimedia content. The Government teachers shall impart education to the students. Under the T3 programme, the government teachers will also undergo refresher training programmes from the Core
Aptech technical team under pre-determined timelines specified by OPEPA to keep pace with the curriculum requirements as designed by the Education department.
Aptech will install the requisite hardware and software. The hardware will be installed under the ‘Build, Own, Operate, Transfer’ (BOOT) basis. The tenure of the project is for a period of five years. On completion of five years, the infrastructure will be transferred to the State Government.”

Aptech has trained students in Rajasthan and Punjab, provided training to Gujarat and Maharashtra Government employees, trained members of the Postal Department, Delhi, Armed Forces, Department of Social Welfare and the Karnataka Backward Classes Development Corporation.
Aptech is also empanelled by the Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd. (MKCL) to offer IT training throughout the state.
Aptech is the preferred partner for training in several schools throughout the country.
Aptech is currently involved in schools in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, Tripura, Bihar and West Bengal in approximately 1,000 schools.
Aptech is involved in the prestigious IT empowerment project - Project Shikhar, setup by the Uttaranchal government, which aims to provide IT training to over 1 lakh students in 55 colleges across Uttaranchal.
